well, I must say that after a dormant couple of years it's great to have this excellent site up and running again. Thanks Ursula.
Looking forward to this forum returning to the robust and informative discussions of yore....

Dear All,

It is a real pleasure to see some old friends (Rokki, Judith, Beryl, Jim, et-al) from the 'old days' pop up to say hello and give us support (well Beryl is a core part of the Alliance and has served longer than me although, let's just say, we have known each other and our partners for many years back now).

It is also fantastic to hear from those who are coming to us / have worked with us, since the old list was closed. Welcome Jimi, Tim, et-al, you the future and I am honoured to be able to work with you on the projects and pathway to empowerment both for yourselves and for others you have embarked upon.
All power to you and all who have decided to do something to facillitate change.

Best wishes and welcome, Alan J.

hallo im a newbie

im training in counselling and also setting up a users group but i dont like that phrase its negative!

can anybody advise me as to which particular organisations i can link with to find funding and or support?

the service would be defined as after-care (tier4) continuing support recovery and rehab and would offer
users ongoing care to maintain and sustain a clean stable life -very brief summary.

see other posts for more info

ps does anyone else find the term aftercare incongruent?
