'Addict' found guilty of baby death

Oh dear I see on the news this evening these very sad words.
'The father of a three-month old baby who died after eing given a lethal dose of a heroin substitute has been found guilty of manslaughter. ......... was found guilty of killing his son by giving him Methadone and diazepam........he gave the drugs to his baby son to stop him crying a jury took one hour to convict him. He will be sentenced on 7th June'

Very sad that this has happened and the media frenzy will be awful.

The media will have a hey day with that one as they do many of them eh.  There's some anit-methadone group out there in the States really giving methadone a hard time these days.  They love getting hold of articles like this and really play on it.  I think they are doing some damage which is sad.  I don't think they'll ever get methadone taken away yet they will I bet get the regs made even harder for those on methadone.  It's such a shame because of all the hard work many activist do to get things changed for the better then these people come along and take us back a few steps again.

We won't be going to Warswaw this year but will be going to Spain next year.  Will you or any of you be going next year at all to Spain. 

I helped in Belfast to help start INPUD with other user orgs from around the world.  We took it further in Vancouver last year.  This year it will even get better and can't wait for what we'll get done in Spain next year.
