Glad to see what started as a extremely worrying and sressful time for myself has turned into a page full of teste jokes and hillarious humour!!!!!!!

This site used to be a great source of support and advice from people whom i became very friendly with because they or at least some could identify with the problems im having!!

I can assure you i can give and take a laugh like most but for my post to have some of the comments it had makes me pretty sure that i wouldnt post a problem i had on here again which is pretty sad,seems most on here just want to find out where to get the best gear whilst saying how good MMT is??

Different meds effect people in different ways, I've not found any evidence to say that methadone has any significant effect on your sperm count. There are many different factors which can effect it. Would you have refused your script if you had been told that it *might* of lowered your sperm count in later years & carried on using gear ? Talking of which the only time I've ever been aware of anybody " trying to find out where they can get gear " was around Christmas time 2010 when there was a drought & the site was filled with new posters as it was the only forum which allowed people to talk about the drought, needless to say they all disappeared when the drought was presumed over with.
Personally I will always come down on the side of MMT for those that want it, if it wasn't for MMT then I would of lost my house, family & possibly a limb.
I'm sure that nobody intended to offend you, but from your posts you seem to of already answered your own question & are blaming methadone when in reality it could be down to many different reasons. My ex-partners brother suffers from low sperm count, he's never touched anything but alcohol in his life, so to contribute it to methadone alone, a medication which has saved countless lives is just another negative comment at a time when there are enough people having to fight their DSPs just to hold onto their scripts.

I was so pleased to see you back on the forum - please don't feel that your problem was taken as a joke.  As someone who hasn't been able to have kids, I know how painful that is.  However, I think you've had some very valid comments on here - low testosterone doesn't necessarily mean low sperm count.

Unfortunately, I'm no longer employed by the Alliance nor allowed to act as a volunteer so can't give any further advice.  However, please know that my thoughts are with you and your partner - relax, enjoy each other and who knows.....

I've not posted on this thread and am less pro-MMT than anti-'imposed' treatment, wherein users are forced to do whatever suits those doing the forcing.

I've experienced this kind of 'treatment' and, believe me, Mac15, it's ugly. It seems to be happening a lot of places. The Alliance is under threat and, as I'm sure you know, Mac, users alone are rarely able to stand up to determined opiophobes on the rampage.

OK. You've a different problem. I read the thread just now and, as far as I can see,you  received serious answers. Everything that needed to be said was said and said quickly. Then, as with most threads on most forums on most topics across the net, someone makes a couple of jokes. They may not be funny but they are hardly insulting. Others query whether you may attribute a low sc exclusively to methadone. This is not hurtful, either. I'm sorry if your friends of yesteryear are no longer here to help you or if you think you fail to receive enough sympathy from those who remain. Do you know Angie came off? How would you help Froude with his problems? Or Sapphiire with her troubles which, with respect, may be greater than yours? Getting in a huff and joining the Alliance bashers instead isn't a very sympathetic or helpful response. The affection in which older hands appear to hold you makes me think you're less a typically selfish junkie and more hurting and kicking out. I hope the apologies you receive - very swiftly - for any inadvertent offence make you feel better.

And, as Simon says, join in more. If your caring extends beyond yourself, The Alliance needs you now.

I'm no medical professional Mac, but could it be possible that your low sc is a result of your recent radio-therapy treatment rather than being prescribed methadone ? If indeed it was the cause then it very possible that your sc will increase in time according to information provided by the MacMillan Trust web-site.
I'm sure if you get to know some of the regular posters that currently post on the site you will realise that most, if not all are a very helpful & supportive bunch to one & all, whether they wish to fight to hold onto a maintenance script or come off their scripts as Angie;AKA True Grit has just done.

Firstly im a drug addict not a junkie,in fact what is a JUNKIE??

Also MMT saved my life and havnt used in over four years due to that fact.As i said i havnt been on the site for a while so i havnt seen anyones posts so i cant comment on other peoples problems which may put mine into significance as someone suggested!!!
