Are they ringing now instead of making you go to those ATOS interviews when they change you from IB to ESA?

I wouldn't worry sapph, they'll probably think you're suffering chronic heart failure when they see the amount of ECGs you've had  Grin
I'm expecting a busy year if they continue to monitor my QT interval & everytime I have to ask the Nurse to re-write the letter because the heading as I have to show the letter to employers so that they let me attend the appointment. It's either that or taking a days holiday & there are never enough days anyway. Wonder if they will give up as I always give the same results ( approx. )...I wish !

Got phone call today.....they will send me a 19 page Shocked questionnaire within 2 weeks- 4 weeks to fill it out and return it and then if they need more info will have to see a 'health professional'. Roll Eyes......the lady said if you fill out the form with enough information a medical may not be required.......I will update you all as it happens, as it may help other people know the process in real time Undecided

This is a national roll out and they have until 2014 to move everyone off Income support, Incapacity benefit, Severe disablement allowance onto Employment Support Allowance (ESA); there are two groups- support group and work related activity group, so in  my opinion 'you're fooked' and you're fooked and need to veer towards employment, but careful now coz that tightrope will take you to JSA and reduced benefit Shocked Cry
Now just have to wait for that brown envelope Roll Eyes Sad................

 Embarrassed
That brown envelope was WHITE and arrived the next day Roll Eyes
I got another phone call asking the same shite Huh?
Anyway...I have 4 weeks to fill it in.....I am really tempted to pay the £19.99 subscription fee to benefits and work- who apparently give you step by step guiding to filling the form in.....they do give you snippets for free-but then on the other hand THEY shouldn't be making money from poor people in the first place Angry

This is hard work.....it's like when you have to write an essay and you just can write your name.....aarrrrgghhhh Cry

 Wink
I have found the guides on tinternet....for free Grin
Although each one is 65 pages, it is worth it.......so if any one needs them let me know Cool

This does not for one minute make me think I will pass, however God loves a trier and I love the freedom of information act!
£19.99........ Roll Eyes paaah

I've a mate that's on Disability Living Allowance, he's got severe shakes which he never had before he was given ECT & so finds the forms very challenging to even fill in. Anytime his benefits are up for review he takes the paperwork straight to C.A.B. He tells me that the local benefits office refuse to tell him exactly all the benefits he is entitled to but the C.A.B. tell him what he should be entitled to & fill the paperwork in for him. He's had a couple of times that they have tried to reduce his benefits but just goes straight back to C.A.B. who appeal against the decision & his appeal always goes in his favour. Rightly so, because of his health issues. I'd advise anybody who finds themselves in the same position to do the same if their benefits are reduced. The C.A.B. seem to carry a bit of weight behind them & you never know, you may be entitled to more which can be back dated.
Thought I'd just post this for anybody who finds themselves getting their benefits reduced & aren't aware that C.A.B. will do this for them.
Best of luck.
