either my key worker is paranoid  or there being pressed, due to my job/travelling I got swapped from the linctus some years ago to the tablets but it seems the powers that be are looking to get people like me back to linctus im on 35mil  a day and pick up every 14 days.
It can be crap sometimes not being being treated as  individual. Thats all we ask. Linctus comes in big bottle everyone knows what it is were by the tablets r easly taken without causing suspision.

The tablets aren't licenced to be used for substance misuse so they are being prescribed outside of the licence. It could seem sensible though if someone travels a lot and is taking a high dose but it's up to the  prescriber and some negotiation I reckon. Why change now though?

I do hope it's not the same answer to both our questions.

Physeptone tablets aren't licsenced for addiction? That's weird! They give them to quite a few bods at my DSP, and they always give them to pregnant women being sick etc, or if you're going away.

imagine this you work closley with people on  24/36 hr basis ts difficult carrying around a bottle of lictus in your bag and getting seen /breakages i did this for nyers I know, the tablets re easieser masked. The bottle line is we all want to be treated as individauls but its just not going to happen, the only real choice you have u can be sure of is it rid urself  the meds all together.
The powers that be are the guys passing judgment before knowing the facts, thx for letting me moan guys

I really do think that DSP's are thinking that if they give sevice users enough crap, and make them jump through enough hoops, that the service user will want to be off their script.

Well, they are getting off their scripts, but back onto street drugs!

The policy makers or commissioners or whatever they are called should be called to account. They are ruining people's lives. Idiots.

Yeah ,they gave them to my misses when she had morning sickness, she had to take 11x5mil everyday, she was on them for ages afterwards didnt seem to bothered to swap her back either.Got to the point in her pregnancy where she was just puking her meth up and having nothing inside her,and going into a cluck,i was going mental ,with her rehsus disease aswell didnt want the mother and baby getting stressed,at one point when she was puking it up ,one of the midwifes at our D.S.P said buy a bag of heroin, can you fucking believe it.Anyway they put her on them and they were brilliant,She did say they were better than the juice, then the Mental Health Team sort of realised our baby was now 2 nearly 3 and the misses was still on them,so they switched her back to linctus, she was pissed off at first ,but the D.S.P came out with "oh they can be injected and there's a black market for them blah blah blah",as if she was selling them, just the D.S.P talking there usual shit.I tried them ,a days dose and thought they were pretty good, they always came in 5mils strips, thought they would be pretty good at knocking you down as its 5mil at a time. All the best Froude.

Your spot on with with Iv not touch smak for 6/7 years but its still piss in a bottle  and meets every 2 weeks on ur day off, you get to the point that you start thinking about jacking it in, but what happens if for them reasons you do it and you end up in the shit go back to buying off junkies or even worse the brown
its a very big gamble and all you want is allowed to get on with your life and work

Unprofessional sapphire. But its even worse than that. It seems they are seeing what they can get away with and how far they can push users before they open their mouths and complain.  I often think of the song, when I am entering CRI, you know the one from Grease. "You'd better shape up Ooh ooh ooh" I don't know why that song comes to mind everytime I enter CRI for an appointment.

MY pharmacist told me that they were getting pressured into not prescribing them if at all possible, I think that in cases like yours your prescriber has taken it too far. They say that they want to have minimal impact on employment, that's a good 'un.
