HealthWatch Coming Soon?

Apparently, The government are setting up a new regulatory body, which entitles service users and patients to have their say in how they are, or want to be treated. Just visited the website and it isn't ready yet. I heard it will be rolled out soon and will cover England. Not sure about Wales, Scotland, NI though I think they will probably have their own. Some good news for Service Users though if this goes forward.

If at the end of my days I end up in a care home I want a syringe driver filled with diamorph & midazolam. Far rather die young & stay handsome though than have some stranger " check my pad every 4hours ". Prescribing GP is about the same age & say's he'll hold onto a script pad for us.

No. Let me try that again. It is supposed to be for service users to voice their concerns on treatment if they feel they are not getting the care they feel they ought to get. Here is their website. Still not ready yet.
