A methadone prescription alone is not reason for the DLVC to revoke a licence; for the police to come round to do so suggests they made an application and there was more involved. If your dsp - 'Lifeline'? - is notifying Swansea every user is unfit to drive, they're quite out of order.
Your partner has since lost a leg from DVT? That's sad. Another victim of drug law sociology. You know the story, we don't, but it doesn't seem a real good idea to imitate his behaviour. And, on 10mls oral linctus a day, you surely don't. But it'll be a while before you won't be vulnerable to temptation - you will feel better for a hit but for how long and at what cost? You, not your partner or parents, know what's best for you. Be sure to do it and make the most of a world where the breaks are sometimes rotten.
