Dunno about that but, in the fields' first season, a travelling lass in a van stumbled across it by chance.. She set up camp and telephoned her pals with the news. Pretty soon, a dozen or so vehicles of the kind seen at free festivals were parked on the edge of the field and their occupants laid out beside the campfire. There was supposed to be a satellite stationed above it and the unusual activity was beamed back to the authorities. Thames Valley dispatched a couple of squad cars within 72 hours and the group was moved on without incident; the publicity that would have accompanied any arrests was in nobody's interest.

I believe there are a number of these licensed opium fields now in operation and their locations, while officially secret,  common knowledge among local bag heads.

The government have a place here in Wiltshire for growing weed ,aint got a clue where it is ,if i do find it i wont be calling anyone,well one mate and his transit van,or you can find me in the poly tunnel about half way down smoking 25% Northern lights or trying to find some hybrid weed and get smashed . ,All the best Froude
