I'm sure people remember the tragic Hillsborough Tragedy. Well if u support the mighty L.F.C, u will know that if u want the truth, u don't buy the Sun newspaper & I would strongly encourage everyone else to do the same.

There is a concert at the Olympia, just by the Grafton. It is called 'Don't buy the Sun' concert. It is also for a lad who was murdered in Walton (not the jail).

Info is on the internet. But people can show their support by not buying that rag & the Scottish Sun. But if u are not convinced, just read the excellent book; Hillsborough "THE TRUTH" by Phil Scraton, as the back cover points out, it reveals the systematic review & alteration of South Yorkshire ploice statements (the corrupt bastards)..But the truth will come out eventually.

As the banner at the Lpool V Arsenal game said, 'SHOW US THATCHERS LIES, BEFORE SHE DIES'. I hope that bitch burns in hell.

interesting thing is I live on the Wirral and you never even see a copy of the Sun here.  If you live on merseyside its like it doesn't exist.  Never see it it in a pub or anyone reading it anywhere.  Most people read the daily Star so no real improvement really.  I think the mirror sells more than most places though and I quite like a read of that

Your right Jim, virtually no one buys that in the Merseyside area. Even Everton fans don't buy it. Most independent newsagents round mine refuse 2 sell it. The only places u see it is in national chain stores like the Asda, Tescos, WHSmith etc, but at the end of the day all the Sun papers are still there with a thin layer of dust, even the daily mail sells better & that's saying something. The staff in Asda/Tescos even say they don't know why head office keep sending them.

I don't know if u have read that book Jim, but its a eye opening read. Have a look at the customer reviews on Amazon. If u do get it, buy the 2009 20th anniversary edition.

When I worked in Manchester I would have mostly friendly banter with my Man Utd workamtes. But they don't like any references 2 Munich, if I did they would shout Hillsborough. Both were tragedies, but u can't compare Munich 2 Hillsborough. If Man Utd had of been good enough in 1989 it could of been their fans. That's what people don't realise. if your a footy fan or even just a decent person then it shouldn't be bought.

That ignorant, malicious bastard Kelvin Mckenzie was the person behind the shite that the Sun wrote. Just after the tragedy they wrote a disgusting article entitled 'The Truth', accusing Lpool fans of urinating on the dying fans after rifling through their pockets, which was anything but the truth. That's the reason for the book being called The truth.

Sales of the paper dropped immediately. Eventually they did a front page apology, but the damage was already done. Kelvin Mckenzie hates Lpool & wouldn't be stupid enough 2 come here, unless he had a Cat A police escort.

Tomo,Until yesterday i read the Sun (didnt know what they said back then ),I looked into the web and the Sun's front page stories when Hillsborough happened,and  i  was appalled at what i read.Today i bought The Star and will continue too now for the rest of my life,good thing is you can get the Star on Sunday's,Happy Days.Every time i see Kelvin Mckenzie on TV i will be turning over,he is a total lying scumbag and has no space on my TV.As a supporter of Football, two things i remember growing up was the Heysel Stadium and Hillsbrough disasters,I saw them both live on TV and they had a massive impact on me,as i grew older and went to watch Chelsea in the League and then the Premiership,then onto going to European matches home and away you become obsessed with your team obviously,so when  Leeds fans get stabbed in Turkey and die, over the years things like that go to the back of your mind(Remembered but not forgotten)until someone like you puts it at the front of my mind again,for the people of Liverpool and Liverpool fans this is never going to be forgotten ,what i cant get out of my head is the Inspector?, who gave the order to open the gates to let those fans in, has no Police Force or single person never been prosecuted(is that right?)infact not one person has been prosecuted over this have they?.As i said i apologise for my ignorance,but i only take intrest in Liverpool if we play and lose, or you are above Chelsea in the Premiership,or we are beaten by you in the Champions League.Im glad ive learnt a few things over the past couple of days,Cheers Tomo,All the best Froude

Did u here what that High Court Judge said about the Hillsborough victims families? In a letter 2 the Times newspaper, he said they should have moved on & 2 stop harbouring conspiracy theories about the the disaster. He made a comparison with the 1985 Bradford City stadium fire which sadly killed 56 people. He said the citizens of Bradford behaved with quiet dignity & great courage & that the Hillsborough victims should learn from them.

A bit of good news though; Kelvin Mckenzie is 2 face a Commons grilling over his disgusting slurs..

I'm in Cardiff and a lot of ppl here are boycotting the sun over their reporting of a local lad (mike dye)'s death - they said he was a 'known football hooligan' which could not be further from the truth.
I've never bought the sun and never will. they've always been immoral scumbags but they surpassed themselves with their hillsborough coverage.

.THE ease with which the "date-rape" drug Rohypnol can be bought is revealed today by The Sunday Mirror.

After just an hour on the streets of London's Soho, our investigators were being offered bags of "roeys" by members of a Sicilian Mafia gang, who sell the pills for as little as pounds 2 each.

After offering us the tablets, a drugs runner called Sam Harrison said: "You're not using them to rape young girls, are you?"

Harrison's boss is Nico Tangaro, one of several Sicilian and Italian dealers known as the Frontline Mafia. Tangaro's gang control the black market in prescription drugs on a notorious street corner known as the Frontline.

There dealers and buyers gather to trade in illegally obtained hospital medicines 24 hours a day.

The main drugs for sale are Rohypnol, methadone heroin- substitute, the amphetamine Dexedrine and Temazapan painkillers.

Harrison, a former British motorbike racing champion, was selling tablets to a group of Irish tourists when he noticed our investigator. He said: "What are you after? Do you want amps (methadone ampules)? I can sort you out for Roeys. If you want a load I'll have to phone Nico."

Harrison, 30, phoned Tangaro and arranged a meeting at his flat in Walthamstow, East London. There Tangaro handed over a bag containing seven grey-green tablets embossed with the number 542.

He said: "They are my last seven Rohypnols. They're pounds 18."

Two days later he arranged to sell a further 30 Rohypnol tablets for pounds 60. He then reeled off a shopping list of other drugs on offer.

"My cocaine is pure," he said. "It's pounds 50 a gram." Our investigators bought two sachets for pounds 50.

Harrison, from Islington, North London, later warned: "Don't mess with Nico. He'll chop your legs off"
