Round table discussion

I was wondering, did anyone attend the round table discussion on MAR in August or have any information about it's content and/or what it achieved or not?

Dunno!!
I do know that Mcdermott was talking to the guy holding the event about Alliance co-hosting/sponsorship, but heard nothing about any actual outcome.

Ok, so I was a bit intrigued if anything actually happenned with regard to this round table so I went to the website of the guy running it,Stephen Bamber, website is
www.theartoflifeitself
, and the latest "news" on the homepage is that he has been invited by Wired In to be on their "Selection Committee" to select Wired In's "Recovery Champions 2011".
So, and please correct me if I'm wrong, is it the case that now he has an "in" with the Wired In "recovery" crew that he is no longer interested in maintainance problems/issues??
There is no follow up on the website as to if/what happenned at the round table, the Alliance were supposed to be "co-sponsoring" it but I don't think we ever heard what (if anything) happenned.
So, if anyone does know whether anything worthwhile was achieved could they please let us in on the secret?!
Stephen did post a bit on here with regard to the round table but I think he took exception to our "beligerance" and locked his thread!
What I want to hear is that the round table took place and lots of people's minds were changed about how maintained recovery works, and that the Weird In crew et al now accept MMT as a valid form of recovery, or at least are open to hearing about it, but I sadly doubt that is the case. I would love to be proved wrong.
Ideas anyone??

I attended it and he's still onside and supporting those on MMT - the event wasn't co-sponsored by anyone the, UKDPC just facilitated it, provided the room, photocopying etc. A core group is being set up from the people that attended the first meeting, there were people from all over, Brighton, Manchester, Liverpool etc and not the usual suspects you get at such events. There is going to be further events/discussions held. As soon as I hear about it I'll post here.

Maybe the discussion should be taken to Scotland also, making it more accessible to Scottish users.
Also like sapph previously asked, did the meeting serve any purpose, was the table round ?
