Hi, Long time since I've posted hope everyone is fine and in good health. I'm doing good, still clean, still on a script though, they've moved me to shared care, with a doctor that C.A.U. Cardiff have gave me has my own surgery and doctors will not touch Methadone prescribing for some reason, They've been reducing my valuim too (my Surgery) TBH, I don't take them has I should e.g 4 times a day. I'll keep them then take a lot which is pretty stupid I guess, but they don't hardly touch me no more. So I'm going to not take them for a while. I want to lesson my Torrance to them has I have some dentist work coming up and get panic attacks while in the dentist chair.
There's a question I want to ask, but I'll do that in another thread.
I just want to ask if anybody has been watching Drugs Incorporated on Nat geo channel. Its really fascinating and educational. I recorded it last night and have been watching today. If you missed this one, they tend to repeat it a few times, until the next program. Last Nights was about heroin. I've not watched it fully yet.
But the last few programs,  First it was Coke, then Meth, where really interesting, and put across fair, You get a sense from the program, that the "war on drugs " is not working and in fact is making the problem just much worse, we know that already, but if it changes a few views of people all the better. A very well made documentary.
If you have the channels try and keep an eye out.

PS, I'm still painting, Canvases etc, but the graffiti on walls etc has become really difficult due to my arthritis, which frustrates me no end, esp when I've been involved in graffiti for 25 years. I've been doing graffiti outlines/sketches for other graffiti writers (their Tags etc) that ask me to, via the web, from seeing my work and they paint up the outlines I've done etc them selves, its all good that way.

Anyway Take care, If you can, try to catch this series, I'm going to watch the rest of it for now, but I'll be back with a question about Methadone and other medications, eg Drug interactions.

I don't think my space telly runs to anything as exotic as the National Geographic channel, but I'll check.  It's lovely to see you back!  We've got one of your pictures printed out and on the office wall and we often wonder how things are going for you.  Sorry to hear about the arthritis - an artist friend of mine's suffering horribly from it at the moment and it seems like such a horrible thing to happen to a painter.

Thank you Ursula, Lets really Humbling to me to read, you liked a painting and printed it to put on the office wall. I'm still working on the Addiction series, Well I found myself not happy with what I was doing, so put it on hold, The Problem is to get the best inspiration apart from my own memories of addiction is to draw or get some photos of addicts I know. But I really don’t want to be around these people again. I still get some knocking but I ignore them. One time someone waited for me to come home, I had been shopping at the supermarket, I was dropped off by taxi the guy helped me with my bags, I got to my door in my block of flats to find a Pit bull outside tied up. At first I thought it was someone dumping a dog on me, I used to own the breed and did a lot of research on the breed bloodlines etc. 
Anyway As I opened my door, this guy I was once good friends with (before Heroin) was behind me, He entered my flat by given me hand with the bags after the Taxi driver had left.
Long story short this guy was saying that I should come off Methadone As he did, and was saying he hardly used anymore, I'm putting my shopping away while he was in the room, I knew why he was here, Because he completely crashed each of his flats the Council had gave him, From taken out the Central heating and boilers etc to sell to student landlord's. And just leaving them in utter mess, they will not give him a new flat. So he had been staying here and there. I let him live in my flat a couple of times, what a nightmare, he used to deal smack from my flat, I'd have over 30 to 40 people knocking each day usally comming back hours later so there was a lot of people coming and going !!!
I'm soft you see, He took advantage of that, For me given him a place to stay, including free gas and electric, He would run me about 10-15l lines a day cause I could'nt run my own lines, I never got the technique to it.
I still had to buy gear off him, and there was no tick, even though he was pushing crazy amounts, he'd pick up big rocks of gear and crush it down to about 40-50 bags but a lot of times he'd just make a bag up from the powder there and then when the door knocked., Anyway he had it easy here. In the end I was so worried about getting busted, even though he said that he would make sure I wouldn’t get done, yeah right!!!
He got so comfortable, he'd just lay on my sofa all day with the remote apart from when he had to pick up, smoking foil and just nodding off, while I'd have to wait for him to sort me out, some days as late as 6-7pm, I'd be clucking watching him run is own lines..
People that we let in would give me more lines than him, My flat had become a junkie den really. I couldn’t handle it no more Plus I had his two Pit bulls here, Man It was crazy,  and told him he had to go!!, Luckily too, I found out that my flat was about to be raided, They busted him a week or so later in another flat, He's been raided a lot and they've found large amounts, but has never been in prison Apart from other times for other things, He was so reckless like he had no worrys about getting caught with his gear, he'd have it all out in front of him, on a table day and night, I'd swipe some at times as would other people that came here to smoke, has he would be out of it from taking benzos and smoking so much. a number of times he'd spill it all over the floor while crashed out, then swipe it back up from the floor, crazy some people where injecting that, plus dog hairs, he did'nt care..
Anyway back to the day he came in with my shopping, It was his dog after too, a new one. The guys homeless sofa surfing and he gets another Dog!!
I knew he was sofa surfing where ever he could stay, and I knew he was bang on the gear, but wasn't selling no more.
He asked me If I could lend him a fiver, I though yeah to get rid of him, He then said did I want some Gear!!, His plan was to get me back on the shit, so he could doss here again so he could start selling again, and if I was hooked again he'd promise I'd never cluck like the other times until he got too comfy. Plus He knew I couldn't run lines on foil so needed him to do it, like last the times.  That was his plan, I told him straight there was no way I was going back on the shit again and told him he had to leave has I was going out, I had to make up the excuse that I was going out for him to leave, he waited to I left, I heard him curse as we went out different ways, I knew he was sneaky and was likely to come back to my flat, so I jumped on a bus to town and back to make sure.
Sorry for my rant I got carried away there, but yeah I still get people knocking at times not as bad as before, I'm soft and an easy target, has I used to sort people out if they where clucking one person would be calling around 8am before I got my hit and stay with me at my side until night.
That’s why my bruv and his Misses dossed here for so long too; I started injecting with them two.
Anyway I could go on all day and bore people with my left story lol...

Regarding other paintings, I'm working on a Graff style work, Gang related paintings too, Plus I've done a few "nice paintings like waterfalls or wild life like birds etc" plus portrait paintings of someTrue friends etc.
The Internet is one massive distraction, with me looking at other artists work, Graff and urban art, with sites like Flickr or blogs where you post up your own graffiti work, and check out other graffiti writers stuff, and comment on their work, it’s so addictive. Plus you make good friends esp. with the graffiti, and organize jams where writers from all around the country come and paint, Kind of like Painting festivals. you meet up with the artists you been in contact with and paint pieces on walls That's why it’s so frustrating to me with this arthritis I find it so difficult to do normal things, So I'm pushing it if I try to paint walls. I know its wrong put I've found myself with my crew members buying Coke to help me paint, It’s not something I do allot once every 3-6 months, Its crazy though Buying half a gram of "better coke” for £40 than paying £50 for rubbish. What’s happened to coke, why is it so bad these days, Years ago I remember it much better and paying £40.
Jez I don’t half go on.
Anyway I'll get to my point I found some clips from the series Drugs incorporated on the National Geo site.
This clip is why because of the moral scaremongering by American politicians we are in the mess we are in with drugs today, I don't smoke weed, was never my thing It gives me complete loss of energy, panic attacks, My mind races so much, plus I get horrible feelings of déjà vu constantly until it where's off.
What was so refreshing about the heroin program, was the way Switzerland deals with Heroin, by giving addicts pure pharmaceutical Heroin from the Doctors, how they transformed the lives of these addicts from crime, illnesses and overdose, plus the guy in Chicago giving out naloxone to addicts.
Anyway there are quite a few clips to choose from, plus I'm sure you could get this program the internet like a torrent 
But when you have president Regan going on saying Cannabis is the worst drug in America the mind boggles behind belief.

I can't say that i've seen it, it's freeview only in this house am afraid. But I'm glad to hear of The National Geograpic documenting on the issue of drugs & from what you are saying are providing logical, scientific based evidence as they do when it comes to nearly all their articles that I read ( not as many as I would like, with the new issue often coming before I've finished the last. Good to know that there is an organisation who's past history is as unbiased as their's providing "sane" information about the use of drugs. I shall try 2 get someone with a package that includes The Nat. Geographic to record it for me.
National Geographic 75+ years & still going well. I've never had one issue that there wasn't several long articles that woud appeal to me & educate me also. A bizzare concept to the masses...educated users, some of the most educated people I know are educated a bit better than most We can't have ideas like that going around...whatever next!

Just wanted to say I'm so glad you're back and that you're ok - apart from the arthritis which I'm suffering horribly with as well at the moment in my hips.  Look forward to more posts from you Kevin.

Thank you so much Jules, Sorry to hear about your Illness, Mine effects my Hips, Back, and Knees Mostly With my ankles and wrists becoming painful and stiff at times too. Some days are better than others.
The strongest Meds the can give me is Dicloflex (Dicolfenac) I was one Naproxen too. My G.P etc, won't touch me other other pain killers Even codeine based Meds due to my Script. I've read that they give Methadone for pain relief to some people?
I will post some more.

OP8S, I really love watching and soaking up information from Documentary's, From World war one, Art to Science etc. I've given up smoking (well I dont smoke any tobacco in any form no more but Use or vape these electronic Cigarettes or Electronic Nicotine Imitation Cigarettes One of there names, They no longer look like Cigarettes really any more, which is good, and they're gotten much better over the last couple of years. I just get my Nicotine fix with out the Tar and the rest of the crap you find in Cigarette smoke, Its cleaner, works out much cheaper and you can use these pretty much anywhere where Cigarette smoking is banned. You get the right ones there Fantastic, Plus you can use them to tapper off, by buying the nicotine/flavour vaping juice with less nicotine. My Doctors Are happy with them including a cardiologist that I was under.)
Anyway yeah, with the money I've been saving from not smoking and drinking I use for my T.V and Broadband, I cant deal with nonsense Like X facter and just mindless TV etc, I rather learn From TV. It keeps my mind from getting bored.
