What substances are available in the UK & in what form pls?

hallo fellow members of the forum,
I am a new member here. I am aged 60, live in London, and have been around for a long time.
The name junkie-bund comes from Germany where the two words refer to the Junkie-Bunds which had varying degrees of success in many German towns e.g. Cologne where I was on the committee for many years (going back to 1990). It was the project of this kind with the longest life, and best funding.
I have not seen this q. asked elsewhere and I think it is OK to put it again because policy changes so fast anyway that what was true 1 year ago may now be out-of-date.
At the moment I am on a subutex script.Yes, i know that is not methadone.
However, as I am in the same position as methadone users, I feel it is legitimate to join this forum. If that is not so, then obviously I am in the wrong place: from all points of view.
I was offered either methadone or subutex when i presented. I also phoned the Stapledon clinic. I know people used to get dexedrine for example from there.
Amphetamine available online without trouble for those with juicy wallets
The irony is that from the USA of all places or even the UK e.g.
http://buyphentermineonline.co.uk/
amphetamine can be purchased legally online. At least its is amphet in name. It might be coloured pills of nothing that actually arrives thru the post judging by experiences I have. "Dangerous drugs fraud" should be an offence in English law as it is in German law.
Anyway if it is de facto legal for those with the money , why can't it be offered to amphetamine users?
Morphine: available in small doses so why not for maintenance?
This is available from English pharmacists in the form mixed with kaolin. It costs about 2£ or less for a very small amount. However, sb could go and buy lots of bottles and extract it by some procedure of which I am unaware.
The Morph / Kaolin mix was recommended against diarrhoea by the doctors group practice in Chorlton, Manchester where I used to go when I lived there.
Or Dr. Collis Brown’s mixture for some reason costs £5 but appears to have the same amount in it as the M/K mix.
(Recollect in 1968 I tried the original Dr Collis brown’s mixture, and was impressed by it. Very effective medicine.
In 1969 I tried to buy some paregoric from a chemist shop in Hull. He passed the letter on to the police who then visited me politely. Because it was just a letter. Nothing happened about it. It was a very silly / naive thing to do but I was very naive in some ways. I had an urge to out myself as a user.
Cocaine; would attract users who cannot be reached any other way
The thing most likely to attract a cocaine user to present at a drug-treatment centre is the thought of getting pharmaceutical C. If all else fails why not offer that. The cocaine on offer in London sometimes contains only 2% of the real thing.
No wonder the latest generations of designer drugs e.g. mephedrone, NGAI, methylone etc have swept the board. (see

)

Interesting views Junkie-bund, always facinated to hear how drugs are dealt with 'on the continent' It always appears people are a little more enlightened over there. In answer to your questiuon did you mean, illicit or prescribed drugs? I too remember Kaolin and morphine....the stuff used to settle in the bottles so all the morphine went to the top and the Kaolin to the bottom, you were supposed to shake it up before use but of course many didn't!!!!! Many years since Ive seen it tho. Take care buddy....monk (long brown habit)

people with money get an easy ride ... addicts wioth money get a much easier ride than skint addicts thats for damn sure.
if i could have afforded private treatment i could have probably persuaded some dexedrine out of them... or just bought my own online. the give the stuff to bored kids in the USA all the time and then wonder why they have a c.meth epidemic.
dont be skint... or if your skint, dont get ill... etc...
