Personal messaging function suspended

Hi all,

Due to reported abuses of the personal messaging function, we've had to temporarily suspend access to this service for all users.  We're hoping to be able to restore it in the near future for those of you who have been using it as it should be used.  If you've got any queries or concerns about this, please feel free to email us at forum@m-alliance.org.uk.  We'll let you know when we're able to get the service up and running again.

Hi Ursula, what is regarded as missuse, I dont want to bugger up my messaging or anyone elses by unknowingly saying something i shouldn't, altho it would probably be a misundrstood joke or something as i wouldn't knowingly abuse/intimiate anyone or are we talking about sharing specific information regarding where/when illicit things may/may not be abvailable?

There's not an exhaustive list, but signposting or dealing illegal drugs is definitely enough to earn a permanent ban from this place.  Harassment is another thing which would certainly earn the removal of messaging facilities for the person doing it, although circumstances would determine whether they should be banned.  Basically, be nice and don't do anything liable to upset people and you should be fine.
