I watched the slide show with interest and all i was left with was the wonder of what happened to these inmates when this place was shut down, no dought they were left to sit in a room in withdrawls.  I accually have a book called Junky, by William.s.Burrugh(which is a good read although i did have to take it off the bookshelf after my son asked about it), i was shocked that someone like that would have stayed there, iv'e put it onto my favourites im going to look at the site later tonight when i have more time with no children leening over my sholder, so thanks for posting it ophelia, it's really interesting.  Im sure at the time the inmates thought they were onto a good thing at the time as most of the inmates were in for drug offences, they must have thought they had hit the jackpot!!!
