i have recently sat a Community links Mental health first aid course.
What a crock of shit!
i guess its the same as prompting a generic first aider as qualified medical staff!

Very generalized and a human resources way of categorizing and preventing suicide, time off work and draining public resources!
the course aims to enable a person to administer first aid when someone is in trauma!
If paramedics, G.P's and CPN have their work cut out how does a family member, friend, peer educator or advocate help?!
