No, that's not a no. That's an 'I've only just seen it'.

Yeah, bring it along. Though I should say if this years is anything like last years, the likelyhood of me getting time to look at it is a bit slim, but bring it anyway. There's bound to be *one* boring session.  Wink

Hi McD - your info on all this stuff is fantastic - been going through it again, as it felt a bit overwhelming last time and I didn't get round to doing all that I wanted to - and was (and still am) somewhat confused by my laptop.  I hope you can help with these if you have time - I have got firefox now and access the internet through it - but I still have IE and can access the internet on that too - but I don't now, - should I get rid of it, and if so how do I do it.

Also - I downloaded Adblocker Plus and NoScript no problem, and then onto the firewall - and downloaded Comodo Pro which is a firewall and antivirus, - do I still need to download an anti-malware application?  And if so - should I download both the SuperAntiSpyware and the Malware Bytes or just one?

I'm not sure about the Sandbox thing - don't know if I download enough to be using that, - but I will go for the back-up - do I really need to back up the OS and the data?

PS - my son used limewire to download stuff and he used to do it easily enough before I got the laptop 'fixed' before x-mas, now he can't do it anymore - I've downloaded it, but it seems to need something else - a java thing, - help!!!  He's pissed off at me - coz he lost his phone withl all his tunes on it and wants to put them on his new phone.  alli x

By downloading the above I seem to have messed up my access to my facebook - I now can't read my notifications, can't get to the security settings, can't send messages, maybe they are not compatable with facebook - can you tell me what to do - which ones do I have to get rid of?  Alli x

Im IT naive mate so please excuse me but isn't Limewire the easiest way to get your computer messed up?
All that sharing stuff. I used to use it 2 yrs ago or more so things may have changed.
Good luck i do remember getting some of my old reggae that would cost me a fortune to get back on Vinyl. Esp like the Trojan early stuff etc.
My best
