So is this based on the Terry Southern book? And wasn't there an earlier version of the movie that had Ringo Starr in it, and was terrible?

I've never really been a fan -- he'd barely registered on my antennae before he died. But his work in the new Batman movie is phenomenal.

Thats right, it was based on the "Terry Southern" novel, and not many people relised whae a great actor Heath was, until, his role as "The Joker" in the new Batman. What a fantastic movie it is and all credit to Heath R.I.P
