good morning, friends!! i thought, as it was my idea to have a place just for general chitchat ( for chatterboxes like me, lol!) that i may aswell be the first person to post a message here...........im gonna kinda use this place for " blogging" ,where i can just share with you what ive been doing on that particular day, how im feeling, how im doing with cutting down my heroin intake ( some days more succesful than others). Hello, well m a heroin addict and I have to travel to the UK next week for work!!! Please can i have an advice on how i can get methadone once I am there (it's my first visit to the UK) as m not willing to take heroin with me at all and obviously m not willing to have withdrawels during my 4 days stay. How can I get it? is it possible to have it prescribed to me for the period of my stay?

I always said at some point I'd treat myself to 1 more 'snow-ball' one day and did so the other day.
I'm don't wish to justify doing so but want to ask, "does anyone else get that taste in thier mouths a split second before too?"

It's years since I last had Advocaat but I do remember it's a very strong smell

Advocatt reminds me of ski-ing holidays which remind me of going off piste which is
not too dissimilar to going off topic which reminds me to go get checked for attention
deficit disorder syndrome or maybe I am just prematurely senile ?

Advocaat (snowball) was the first alcoholic drink I ever had with my parents' permission.....blimey, now I finally know where my drink problem started!!  Perhaps we'd better change the topic......lol!

hi everyone, i'm glad to see more people using the 'chat' thread, which i suggested to the staff!! iv not been on myself for a while,yet,as my silly computer connection has been playing up!! i dont think anyone will find your stories boring, quite the opposite. I am sure a lot of people will relate to what you are saying and realise they are not alone. Its very  brave of you to share your life with everyone. Wishing you the very best of luck with your journey x x

Hiya Hen,what a lovely(encouraging!!) thing to say! thankyou! Ive noticed yr a 'newbie' like me, but this site is very helpfull and full of lots of friendly,non-judgemental people!! Welcome!! I'm sure i speak for everyone, not just myself, in welcoming you here! xx    Anyways, at least i know at least ONE person will be reading my stories,LOL!! yes, i am quite nervous about speaking about my addiction, but feel it will help me because,as ive mentioned before,in other posts,even tho ive smoked heroin for 9 yrs, still noone knows about it.........i'm what I call "a secret addict". i felt very ashamed of myself when i first came to this website-i still do feel ashamed of myself,as i know what i'm doing is so very,very wrong-but i am slowly beggining to put things into context,the more i speak here about things.I'm feeling it helps me to talk to others,after SO LONG of keeping things secret. There is SO much un-necassary stigma attatched to heroin users.way too much.And methadone users,too.Non-users,i think,put heroin and methadone in the same'class'-like employers,for example.(not all of them,of course!)i hope this isnt coming out wrong, and you all know what i mean!! anyway, hen, thanx agen for the message of encouragement and look out for my 'stories',lol!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxlove from lynseyrachel xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
